As Applied AI Counsel for IP, Technology & Data Protection, you'll combine deep expertise in German and European tech law with innovative AI-assisted advisory.
AI-powered contract review for technology agreements. Automated GDPR compliance assessments. Intelligent IP portfolio analysis. You'll leverage technology to deliver superior client value across the full spectrum of digital business law.
Technology & IT Law
- Draft and negotiate technology contracts (SaaS, licensing, development agreements)
- Advise on AI governance, algorithmic accountability, and emerging tech regulation
- Handle software disputes, IP licensing, and technology transactions
- Build AI workflows for contract analysis and compliance review
Data Protection & Privacy
- Advise on GDPR compliance, data processing agreements, and privacy frameworks
- Handle data breach response and regulatory communications
- Design privacy-by-design frameworks for tech products
- Navigate international data transfers and cross-border privacy requirements
Required Qualifications
- German law degree (Staatsexamen - both exams required)
- 3-6 years PQE in IP, technology, or data protection law
- Deep understanding of GDPR and German data protection requirements
- Experience with technology contracts and digital business models
- Excellent drafting skills in German and English
